Best Cheerleader of September goes to KAI LUN!

Handsome Derrick handsover the spirit stick to Kai Lun!
She is the youngest cheerleader in our team and that was her plus point!!! Kai Lun is filled with so much energy and spirit, also the will to learn and improve fast. Her flexibility is overpowering!!!! watch her pull into her scorpion without any effort some day! Although her character is very quiet and shy, cheerleading practice in Legacy has transform her into a brave girl. What's more she teaches us what she have learn some times and that, made her the highest voted best cheerleader!
Her youthful and cheerfulness won everyone's heart ^.^

She is awarded the best cheerleader of September badge!!

Congratulations to The Team Singapore at the 3rd Asian Thailand Cheerleading Invitational ATCI 2011!
Coming in 2ND PLACE! at the Competition after Team Japan and Team Rangsit University (RSU) Thailand.

Looking back at the two weeks hard work dear Lions, it paid off with a trophy =)
We are all awaiting the next Championships competition, Team Lions Singapore in Hong Kong next!

This workshop will guide you through all the cheerleading elements, from power-packed dance sequences to gymnastics, jumps techniques, cheer as well as pyramids. There is also a special segment on first aid to empower you to nurse common cheerleading injuries. In addition, to enhance your learning experience, we have introduced Learn!, a request form that enables you suggest specific cheer elements that you wish to learn during the workshop. We will strive to incorporate your requests into the program where possible.

CHEERS TO TEAM LIONS!

Our 2 Coaches Andra and Fairul, Treasurer Michelle and Secretary Karen is on the GO! (they are all from the Legacy Committee!)
Few months ago, they have went through Tryouts for the All-Star Team Singapore - LIONS - to compete in the Asian-Thailand Cheerleading Invitation 2011 Competition at Bangkok. The upcoming weekend will be their competition day in Thailand, the Lega-Lions cheerleaders have been training really hard for these two weeks with the rest of the Lions. Building high pyramids, tossing, springing, dancing, running, jumping all day, all night! We are glad that tonight at 9pm is their one and only Preview Showcase of the Team Lions' Routine, it's Singapore's first time having a team of cheerleaders from all fields coming together to put up a performance AND REPRESENTING OUR OWN COUNTRY!
This is the Team Singapore, 
A mixture of 16 men from 7 different teams 
(Astros, Denvers, KR Steppers, Legacy All-Stars, Rexaz, SP Gusto, Wildcards)

It's time for the phoenix to spread her wings~

Legacy is Proud to have Elaine to be part of Legacy Cheer Family.
Now she's pursuing her education in London School of Economics (LSE) and Legacy will always be by her side (on skype!!) giving her all the strength and Cheer spirit whenever she feels lonely or stressed out in London.

Congratulations for getting in LSE Elaine!!!
